At NextGen Wealth, we believe in working with individuals we can best serve. Believe it or not, that doesn't include anyone and everyone. It doesn't make sense for us to try and work with everyone when there might be another financial planner that would be a better fit.
That’s okay. If there’s a financial planner who specializes in your unique situation, we’re totally fine with you working with them. Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a brain surgeon when you're needing a knee replacement.
We also believe this is how you should approach working with a financial planner. Our recommendation is to find someone who serves your particular needs and circumstances. Along with this, make sure you're able to get along with them as you're going to be having some deep conversations and the relationship should last a lifetime.

Individuals Close to Retirement
We specialize in working with individuals (both locally and virtually) who are within five years of retirement and want to make sure their house is in order both from a financial and emotional standpoint. Let’s face it, transitioning to retirement will be one of the biggest changes you go through in your life.
Individuals Recently Retired
Since we do specialize in working with individuals who are close to retirement, this naturally means we also work with a number of retirees as well. So, if you’ve retired within the last 5-10 years, then you could be a great fit as well.
Hardworking Savers
Our clients wouldn’t consider themselves to be “rich”, but thanks to a lifetime of hard work and diligent saving, they’ve normally accumulated a nest egg of at least $500,000. They understand the importance of saving money and now just need help with distributing it so it will last the rest of their lives.
People We Get Along With
We believe life is too short to work with people you don’t like. We want to serve people we could imagine enjoying a beer or glass of wine with. In other words, if we think we’re going to cringe when we see their name pop up on the caller ID, they’re not a good fit. We feel this is a great parameter for you to implement as well when choosing a financial advisor.

Our clients understand that their financial security is too important to be doing it themselves. They also understand the value of working with a professional to help them make the best decisions about their money. That gives them more time to create a life they love. While many of our clients are knowledgeable when it comes to their finances, they value time with family and friends above trying to manage their own personal finances and investments.
